Pyrrhic Victory
"Pyrrhic Victory" was directed and shot by my brother Michael Reuben in 9mm. The film was shot around 1970 or so when he was about 17 years old. This is a silent film, set to some of his favorite music, both classical and contemporary. The film is about a man (my father, Samuel Reuben, played the part) who captures a red-tailed hawk and trains it, but then gets in trouble with the law. Michael, who was four years older than me, died in a boating accident when I was a junior in high school. There are three parts of the movie. I had to split them up because YouTube only allows people to post 10 minute segments these days. Thank you for watching and I hope you enjoy the show.
